About Kaitlyn

As a certified special education teacher of mild to moderate disabilities with a specialization in developmental disabilities, I have a passion for supporting young minds and their families. Throughout my studies at UMASS Amherst, I have worked with children at various abilities and ages. I believe in fostering a safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive. Prioritizing open communication to the family and following their household expectations. My diverse skill set includes building social/emotional skills for children, de-escalating behavioral episodes and fostering a trusting relationship with the child.
