About Kaitlyn

I am a graduate of the University of Arizona's MFA program in Photo | Video | Imaging. While at U of A I taught for both the Photo and Film and Television departments. More relevant are the 10 years I spent teaching dance to ages 3+, the 5 years I spent teaching art to ages 4+ and my time working with all ages of children at the Columbus Academy's Summer Experience program. My passion is teaching, and although most of my experience is in fine arts, I am confident that I have the necessary qualifications to present an elementary curriculum rich with hands-on learning. I graduated in the top 10 of my high school class, summa cum laude in undergraduate and maintained a 4. 0 in graduate school. I believe that my experience teaching dance and art has made me an energetic yet patient, educator who inspires students to aim high and succeed.
