About Kaitlyn

I have over a decade of experience working with families to provide safe and reliable childcare. My role as a provider has included summer session and after school nannying, date-night babysitting, live-in au pair abroad, and overnight mother's helper. I have worked mostly with children 4-11 years old, although I am also comfortable caring for infants and toddlers. My care style involves engaging with children through curiosity and play, offering questions to encourage big thinking and giving explanations for my own reasoning. Outside of Care. com, I am a biologist and a divemaster. I love learning as much as I love teaching, and I fill my cup by helping others explore their passion for the outside world. This spills over into my childcare work, and I would be happy to help your children with any science or math tutoring that they may need. My schedule is currently open, though this may soon change due to new work opportunities. I am currently seeking jobs on an as-needed basis.
