About Kaitlyn

I have been tutoring privately since 2019. I began working with students who have special needs, confronted with challenges like autism, bipolar and other personality "disorders," as well as atypical learning challenges. This taught me a great deal about catering to each student's particular needs, and helped me develop my empathy and patience. I am dedicated to helping each student find his or her unique learning process. If I've learned one thing, it's that all students are different and not everyone fits into the cookie cutter teaching methods of our educational institutions. In fact, that tends to be the exception, not the rule. As such, I am dedicated to accessing a student's passions and interests to help unfurl an excitement for learning.
