About Kaitlyn

Hi, my name is Katie! I have been babysitting (and dog/cat sitting) for the past few years and have experience with kids anywhere from 1-11 years old! I am already comfortable with up to 3 kids at a time (a current family I occasionally babysit for this past year has 3 boys between the ages of ages 1-8 yo). I have experience with children with special needs as I have a brother with autism who is 10 years younger than me. Growing up, I often volunteered at our church and family retreats as a "Buddy" to other children with special needs outside of living and helping my own brother. I have been a lifeguard at Jungle Jim's waterpark for the past 10 summers, lifeguard supervisor for 6 of those 10 years, and have been a manager/lifeguard instructor for the past 2 years. Therefore, I am First Aid and CPR certified and have experience teaching teens through our lifeguard certification classes.
