Teaching and working with children is my biggest passion. I grew up in Richmond and while attending college, I worked at an inclusive daycare for three years. I then graduated from VCU in 2011 with a Bachelor of Liberal Studies for Early and Elementary Education and in July of 2014, I completed training to receive my Montessori primary certification. After exploring the Montessori world for over five years, I felt I wanted to continue my path in the public field. I've taught both second grade and public preschool. I also have a 6-year-old girl with nonverbal autism.
