Hello families! A bit about me> I'm a certified teacher, phlebotomist, previously a LEAD preschool teacher all of 2020 through covid, medical assisting school, first responder classes, & am CPR & first aid certified. Experience wise : Most is with infants-preschool age from premature up to 3-6 yrs but I am also very familiar with age ranges up to 15+ years. I have cared for 6 sets of twins & have more infant/toddler experience but I love kids of all ages as they are what keeps this world going if not with amazing talents but with smiles and laughs that even a cold soul couldn't help but smile at. In addition I was raised in a law enforcement household & was raised with the upmost respect and always leave homes/places better than how I found them. I am also fingerprinted and live scanned through Roseville police department, FBI, child abuse, and SO as I was a preschool teacher. :) I am looking forward to hearing from you. My family will be moving back to the east coast at the end of the month, and we are regretfully leaving our nanny behind. Before we hired her, one of her references described her as “basically Mary Poppins”, and in retrospect that is spot on. Kaitlyn has now taken care of my daughter full time for the last 2 years, from age 9 months. She is highly experienced and is essentially her private, full time Montessori-inspired teacher who also did her hair, prepped her food, and straightened our living room. Kaitlyn has lots of energy, is so creative, and incredibly loving and generous to her kids/families. We would not have survived the last two years without her. She has our highest recommendation!!
