About Kaitlyn

For the last 2.5 years I have been a full time caregiver for a 92 yr old woman with with Alzheimer's. Her family recently had to make a change and move her into a facility. Working with her has been a special experience. I have been responsible for daily washing/dressing, reminding her to take her medications, meal preparation, feeding, keeping stock of supplies and groceries and making a list of needed items, subbing for other caretakers as needed, and providing companionship throughout the day, finding ways to help my patient enjoy each new day! I play guitar and sing, so music was a big part of our time together. Prior to working with this patient I was a full-time secretary at a local hospital and received cross-training as a patient-care assistant. However, I do not hold any formal certifications. I can absolutely supply recommendations upon request.
