About Kaitlyn

Hi! My name is Kaitlyn and I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Oregon pursuing my bachelor's degree in Journalism. I have a combined 3 years of experience working with elementary and middle school aged students as a tutor and babysitter. I also worked as a Math and English teacher in Guatemala and India where I taught students aged 4-17. Most of my work has involved kids with learning and or behavioral difficulties including ADHD, Dyslexia, and Anxiety and I am confident in my abilities to assist with those needs when necessary. I am committed to providing a welcoming, positive, and safe environment for the kids that I work with which includes being both Covid conscious and providing a judgment-free space to explore their interests! Right now, I am looking for a position for this Summer (through July) but I am open to discuss your needs!
