About Kaitlyn

My experience with caring for children first began when I was in high school and I would volunteer in my church's nursery. My volunteering position was from 2012-2014. In the fall of 2014, I began my college career at Sonoma State University as a Pre-Nursing Major. During the fall of 2016 I switched my major to Early Childhood Studies because I knew I wanted to make a difference in children's lives someday. With this major I have been able to do a lot of fieldwork that involved me going to local schools to work alongside teachers and students. I also worked at KinderCare in Rohnert Park as a 2's and preschool daycare teacher for a year before moving back to Fresno. Today, I am currently a part-time Instructional Assistant for a 1st-3rd grade autism classroom. I love working with children because of their carefree spirit, and how curious and willing they are to learn about new things everyday.
