About Kaitlyn

I have been babysitting children anywhere from young toddler to middle school kids since I was 14 years old. In addition to babysitting, during my senior year of high school I had a mentor that I saw 1-3 times a week, allowing me to accompanying a Pediatrician who worked with infants through teens. Not only did I learn a lot about the way they developed physically but also mentally. I try to listen to what the children want to do so that they are kept occupied, while still communicating with the parents on what needs to get done or what they would like us to do. I'm very outgoing so taking them places to keep them occupied isn't a problem at all. I like to help out the parents with other tasks around the house as much as I can to help lower their stress and open up their schedule. I've learned that it's important to get to know the child when it comes to what does/doesn't work and what they need.
