‼️ Dishonest and unreliable, do not hire if you want reliable childcare. Kaitlin only worked 3 day for an ongoing 5 day/week schedule (3 days to accommodate her schedule). She texted the afternoon before a shift saying she suddenly can’t make it although she agreed to it days prior which unfortunately was too late to get someone else, things happen which I told her was fine . She continued to text stating how reliable and on time she will be to all other shifts, and not to worry. She was adamant about payment over the weekend even though she was to be paid the next shift - continued to ask for money even though ( I thought) I would be seeing her the next day- should have been a red flag but I felt that it was her money owed so I paid as she wanted. After sending payment, she stopped responding to all texts, calls, voicemails - ended up not showing to next shift without any explanation. Our previous texts were about me being gone for a few days and how she would be there to help no problem - suddenly after receiving her money she ghosted. No explanation or mentioning she was not planning to come - she even texted that I can rely on her for all shifts. We spoke in depth about how much I needed her help in the coming days since I was leaving town , we had a plan and everything . I have never encountered someone as unprofessional and dishonest as her. I would not hire her if you want someone who is dependable and honest.
