As an Auntie of 20 (!) children from 6 months to 23 years old, I model patience and kindness, and am firm when needed -- without being scary! I value trust, learning opportunities, fun, and safety. Ready to partner with you to provide compassionate care that meets your family's unique needs! Ranging from teaching middle schoolers, volunteering at the Claremont Autism Center, earning a degree in Cognitive Science (with a focus on Childhood and Adolescent Development), working with high schoolers in incarcerated youth facilities, and as a counselor at an academic enrichment program's summer camp. As a caregiver, I am sweet and silly, but know how to direct children and take lead in a productive and positive way for growth and understanding in developing healthy behavior. I love sharing my love of growing plants, singing songs, preparing healthy food, and including children in the process in a fun and uplifting way.

Kai has been a wonderful babysitter for our 2-year-old daughter on several occasions. We were introduced by a mom friend, and she has been reliable, patient, and great with our little one. She’s always on time, communicates well, and keeps our child happy and engaged with books and games (we try to limit screen time as much as possible). It’s a relief knowing our toddler is in good hands with her! Highly recommend.
