About Kailah

I'd describe my personality as loving, patient, and loyal! I like working with kids because I have grown up surrounded by them all of my life. I became a second mother to my 3 younger brothers while my mom ran a daycare in our home. I enjoy encouraging their interests, curiosities, and passions. Every child has a unique personality which I desire to discover and help them feel comfortable enough to be themselves. I started working with kids professionally when I was 12. I began to grow my love for children as I babysat more often, worked in nurseries, became a teacher's assistant at summer camps, volunteered at my church in the children's department, and nannied for a few families full time. One thing you should know about me is I am studying at FGCU to become a music therapist! I believe that music can impact anyone, so I like to incorporate it into everything I do. This can include singing to children to help them calm down for bedtime or playing songs to encourage happy energy!
