About Kaijo

Hello! I'd describe my personality as creative, calm and compassionate. I enjoy working with kids because they are constant learners, imaginative and can provide a good laugh. I'm looking for a job that is generous, clear in responsibilities/expectations and that values the care I provide. I started working with kids when I was 14. I taught dance classes and camps to ages 5-10. Around this time I also began babysitting. For the past year I have been working as a preschool teacher at an arts immersion private school. Now I am looking to provide smaller scale care! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my pets, travel, go hiking, visit museums and find new recipes to make. One thing you should know about me is that I love gardening! Being with nature is what grounds me the most. My skills include reflective listening, patience and crafting engaging activities/projects. I am currently training to be a Full Spectrum Doula as well! I look forward to connecting with you soon!
