Hi! I love to work with children and to help them be engaged in what they like to learn about. This is why I got my bachelors in child development and worked as a preschool teacher, in two different child care centers, been a nanny, and babysat most my life. I am very hands on because I believe it's important for children to be played with and not put in front of a tv screen all day. I do not smoke or drink and have very high moral standards. I have 3 kids - 7 and 5-year-old boys, and a 2 1/2-year-old girl. I would have to bring my two youngest with me but believe that I can watch your child/children along with mine because I have a lot of experience watching multiple children in two different child care centers and as a nanny. If care is needed in the evening or weekend I can most likely come without my children.

Kaija is absolutely amazing with kids. She is incredibly professional and is also very educated in child development. She is intentional in the activities she does with your child and ensures a safe environment. I was nervous leaving my child for the first time, but Kaija was always very good about sending pictures throughout the day and made sure I was aware of how my child’s day went. It didn’t take long to know we chose the perfect caregiver for our son!
