Hi, ! I'm a warm and playful trans, non-binary, 42 y/o DJ, artist, and student, joint majoring in Indigenous Studies and Studio Arts. My 12+ years of childcare experience includes: nanny, after-school program coordinator, kindergarten extension teacher, camp counselor, daycare provider (ages 0-12), babysitter, pediatric sleep tech, as well as helping raise children in my family. While my focus is unique to the needs of each child, my core practices and techniques are: learning by doing, connecting with the natural world, imaginative play, nurturing autonomy and trust in self, positive reinforcement, and building healthy routines. I am also comfortable with baby-wearing, sleep / potty training, elimination communication, transitional preparedness, homework help and creative activity planning.
