I have been nannying and working with children for 10 years now! I am currently an afterschool arts teacher with Skoolaid and occasional substitute with CPS. I have also taught preschool dance & gymnastics classes for 5 years. All of these jobs required extensive training in First-Aid/CPR, teaching certificates, managing multiple children at one time, keeping little ones engaged through activities and play, and much more! I've also had the privilege of working with special needs children and am happy to learn everything necessary to be the best fit for your child's unique needs! I love spending time with children and enjoy engaging in activities that get them outside or spark their creativity. Safety is one of my top priorities when parents trust their little ones in my care, so I am always sure to stay attentive and know the proper steps to take in case of injury. Kaelyn (Mae as we know her) has been a wonderful sitter for our family. She is punctual, kind and fun! As a mom I appreciated that she was able to make/prep basic warm meals for the kids and capable of throwing lunch/dinner together with what we I had in the house without much instruction. The kids loved her creative mind and caring nature! In addition the house was always picked up from the days adventures and that makes for some happy parents! I would definitely hire Mae again.
