About Justin

I am a professional librarian with a B. S. degree in Economics from Duke and an M. L. S. degree in Library Science from NCCU. I have considerable experience with both paid and volunteer tutoring on a wide variety of subjects, ranging from basic adult literacy and math to high school math and SAT/ACT Prep. I am a "good tester" who can share some strategies for preparing and taking standardized tests, and I can help with most other subjects through the high school level as well. I'd describe my personality as friendly, patient, and results-oriented I like tutoring because it is extremely rewarding to have opportunities to lock in on the challenges students are facing and help overcome them. In my spare time, I like to read, play piano, play chess, run, study computer science, and watch movies. My skills include extensive knowledge of a wide variety of topics, experience teaching students of many different ages and backgrounds, and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
