Hello! I have 6 years of elementary school teaching experience! I've won numerous awards during my tenure as an educator, including the Rocky Mountain Preparatory PEAK Teacher Award that's given to the top performing academic teachers in the network. My last cohort of children, where I taught 1st grade, was able to reach 80 percent or higher on their End of Year DIBELS Reading Assessment, meaning 23 out of 27 of those kiddos were reading on Grade Level before moving to the next grade. I am extremely proficient in elementary mathematics, with 85 percent of my students averaging Proficient to Above Grade Level scores on every math test I've ever assessed. I now work for Great Minds Curriculum and am looking to do some tutoring as I greatly miss spending time with emerging learners.
