Looking to work with Special Needs individuals in Kalkaska, Grand Traverse, and surrounding counties. I believe that individuals with special needs should have the same opportunities to live a normal life as much as anybody else. I have worked as a direct care worker and in an adult foster care home for close to 10 years providing individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness with this opportunity, by offering key assistance to clients in budgeting finances and setting practical goals. Planned activities with clients outside the home requiring them to use time management. Rendered key support to adults and children with developmental disabilities with their personal care and hygiene as well as encouraging them to be integrated into the community.
