About Julie

Hi! I've been a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) since 2013 and have mainly worked in pediatric home care since 2014. I love working with kids and have 2 of my own at home! My older child has some of her own medical needs so I left my nursing job at the end of 2021 to be able to stay home and care for her for all her needs, therapies, and doctor appointments. Since then I have obtained my Masters degree in Public Health. I am also CPR/BLS certified. I've very friendly, a dog lover, and I love being able to play! I'm a quick learner so I will learn what works best for each child/family and understand my role in helping the family keep things as normal as possible in the home. Seeing kids grow and thrive makes everything worth the work! One thing you should know about me is I love to learn. I love to read and learn and I feel that we never stop learning! In my spare time, I like to read books, watch sports on tv and go to games, and spend time at home with my family and the dogs.
