About Julie

Hi! My name is Julie and I'm a SLU nursing student looking to pursue a career in senior care! I love providing care, comfort, and companionship to those in need! I am a CNA as well as a medical assistant and have hands on experience caring for the elderly in a hospital setting as well as home settings. I'd describe my personality as caring, kind, and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy spending time with and talking to seniors and hearing their life stories. Elder care also provides a sense of fulfillment unlike anything else i've ever experienced. I started caring for seniors when I was 16 and received my CNA/MA certifications completing my clinical hours in a senior care center. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, go to the park, watch movies, cook, and bake. One thing you should know about me is I love to joke around and bring joy and laughter to everyone around me.
