About Julietta

I'd describe my personality as funny, patient, and supportive. I grew up in a large family as the oldest of four, and have always worked with children in one capacity or another. During the week, I'm a foster care caseworker working with youths ages 0 to 17. I started working with kids when I was a teenager myself, as a babysitter for family, friends, and neighbors. Throughout college and graduate school, while pursuing my BA and MA in Psychology and Family Development, I worked as a behavior therapist with youths ages 2 to 14. Since moving to VA, I have been working with children and teenagers in the foster care system. In my spare time, I like to do arts and crafts, playing games, going to the farmer's market, and watching music or comedy shows live. I believe in direct and open communication. I appreciate honest feedback and believe it promotes healthy relationships. My skills include advocating for others, communicating effectively, and reading bedtime stories.
