About Julie

Julie really came in and did back up care for us and helped us out in a pinch. I was really impressed by her experience/understanding of kids and what activities to do to challenge them to learn and grow. For example, she found ways to weave in "extra learning" when reading with my kids by asking them questions about the story or to identify items in the book. She really "gets" kids and knows how to handle them with care and ease. She also was adept at quietly dispelling sibling quarrels and getting them to ask for things politely. I felt very comfortable and secure knowing she was watching my kids. She also helped out with the dishes and laundry and was willing to do whatever I asked. She is really a kindhearted, approachable person and the kids relate to her down to earth nature.
