About Julie

Hi! I am a dependable, easy-going, and hard-working university student studying biochemistry, hoping to attend medical school in the future to pursue pediatrics. I am willing to help others develop a passion for learning and invoke a sense of wonder in them for just how complex and intricate the world around us is. I have experience working with youth of all ages through counseling and working on the first aid team multiple summers at a summer camp, to working in the nursery and co-teaching Sunday school. I worked as a tutor in high school and loved the experience. It helped confirm that I want to work with children, teens, and young adults in the future. I played the flute for six years, including performing in marching and concert band. I have a love for the Spanish language and culture, and am currently in the process of adding Spanish as a second major. I am willing to study on my own to best be able to teach any subject I feel I am proficient enough to tutor in.
