I have over 8 years of experience working with children and youth, teaching kindergarten through 2nd grades, providing academic and emotional and life skills support for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum, and I also have experience working with infants and toddlers. I like working with kids because I enjoy being a part of their development, supporting them as they learn about themselves and their individual gifts/talents and interests. My skills include being attentive to the needs of the child, setting limits and boundaries so that the child learns how to interact for the purpose of connection and not just attention, and providing a safe presence for children.
