About Julie

I am a certified English teacher with 2 years of full time classroom experience and 8 years of tutoring experience. I have worked with a variety of ages, from elementary school to college, mostly specializing in reading comprehension, writing techniques, grammar, and standardized/ state testing preparation. Additionally, I have some experience with teaching elementary and middle school level math, science, and social studies. I work hard and intentionally to get to know my students on a personal level so that we may better understand their individual goals and plan for success. I bring encouragement and excitement to all of my sessions, and my goal in tutoring is not only for parents and students to see tangible results, but also for students to find interest, confidence, and excitement in their own learning!
