About Julie

Hi there! I'm the second oldest of 5 children and grew up caring for my younger siblings, as well as babysitting for seven years. I'm now an aunt to 5 nieces and 5 nephews ranging from ages 9-months to 11-years and have been helping with their care for 11 years! Each of my 3 siblings with children has very specific approaches to care for their children, so I'm very adept, agile, and willing to make sure your children are cared for as you prefer to parent. My nephew (6) is on the autism spectrum, so I'm very comfortable maintaining patience and understanding and following the guidelines he needs to be successful, and would be happy to do the same for your child. Additionally, I have experience with special diets, whether it's allergy-related (gluten, dairy, nuts, etc.) or just general preference (organic, no food dyes, no processed food, etc.), so I can make sure to stay within those boundaries for meals and snacks.
