About Julie

Hello, my name is Julie (affectionately nicknamed "Jewel" by family and friends). I am an educated, independent, hardworking, dedicated, kind and loving person who's spent the majority of my life interacting with and caring for people of all backgrounds, with diverse needs (Physical, developmental, rehabilitative, behavioral etc) in a variety of settings (correctional facilities, group homes, assisted care facilities, private homes, hospitals etc). I derive great satisfaction working with/assisting people and have gained a great deal of experience and skills along the way. My interests/activities include stand-up comedy, art, travel, reading, animal rights, preservation of of land, air, water plants and wildlife, music, continuing education and much, much more. I am bilingual in Spanish, some French and Italian. I have lived in Alaska, California, as an exchange student in Mexico and have been living in Minnesota now for over 20 yrs. I'm friendly, out going, giving and more!
