About Julie

We first met Julie almost three years ago when she was a substitute teacher for the daycare my then 4-month-old son was attending. We started using Julie for child care outside of the daycare environment and for a while she was keeping our son multiple times a week while my husband and I often traveled for work. We have since had another child - a little girl who is now 1. Julie continues to watch both children for us. With our second child, Julie was the first person I trusted to watch our baby girl at 6 weeks old - even before I let immediate family members. Patience would certainly be one of Julie's strengths. She has even taught me some lessons on being patient with my son, who can certainly be a strong-willed little boy. I also like the fact that she has strong morals and faith, which are important to me and my family. I enjoy knowing she will reinforce those principles when with our children. Julie also encourages a lot of creative play. I have never known her to be one to plop a child in front of a TV as a means for entertainment. She is very hands-on and active with the kids. She also loves to be outside and takes the kids to play in the yard as often as she can. I really can't say enough good things about Julie. She is kind; as stated before, patient; and very nurturing. She goes out of her way to do special things for my son and daughter. She truly is a blessing in all of our lives.
