I have worked with students of all ages from preschool through adult. I have tutored in schools, offices and in homes. I have prepared students for basic standards testing. I have extensive experience with students with varied backgrounds and special needs including LD and EBD. I believe that by working one-on-one with students, I can give individualized attention to filling in learning gaps by utilizing the many teaching techniques that I have learned through training and experience. I can discover the way that each student learns best. I love seeing students' faces light up when they achieve mastery of a subject or task! I know that this creates a big boost to self-esteem and motivation.
