I have over 19 years experience in child care, teaching and raising children. I'm certified in the state of Texas to teach EC-6 Generalist. I also have my SPED certification in K-12. My specialty is teaching children to read and helping them develop a natural love for reading. I've spent the last 9 years in teaching positions for struggling readers, dyslexia and special education students. As of June 2024, I have left the traditional classroom setting to meet the needs of my family at home. I'm a foster/adoptive mom. I've raised 7 children with 4 still left at home. Between my career and my home life I have a wide range of experience with special needs, mental health, and medical diagnosis'. In addition to teaching/tutoring services, I run errands, grocery shop, babysit and help with home organization.
