Between in-home daycares, being a private nanny, and working at boarding school for troubled teens, I have had well over 20 years experience working with newborns up through 18 years old, with my passion and specialty being 5 (year olds) and younger. I an educated in the area of early childhood development and education, baby led weaning, and an a certified newborn care specialist. I also continually taking classes to help me better understand the children I work with. I believe that my references will agree that I am honest, reliable, trustworthy, teachable, and easy to get along with. I truly believe that children need a lot of outside time! I make it a point to take the children I work with out of the house every day to parks, zoos, museums, etc. I have a consistent group of nannies that I get together with along with their charges so that every child I work with gets properly socialized early on. I believe in strong boundaries and consistency coupled with compassion and empathy.

Julie D. has been the nanny to our two children since October, 2018. Julie quickly became a member of our family and we knew right away that we had found an incredibly special person and child caregiver. With Julie, there is never any doubt in my mind that our children are in the best care possible and that peace of mind is priceless to my husband and I who both work full-time. She is someone who takes her job very seriously - not someone who is looking to be a nanny as an interim role, but someone who truly loves and understands children and has found her calling as a childcare provider. Julie takes time with each child to understand their personalities, strengths and growth opportunities and fine-tunes her approach accordingly. She is incredibly patient, observant, responsible and kind and our children adore her.
