I have babysat for two families who had an autistic child. When I lived in Georgia I helped a mom with her 3 kids and autistic son. He took medication to stay calm. It required a lot of patience & compassion because it was very challenging. When I had to leave Georgia she was very sad because it was very hard for her to find someone that was willing to help her or give her peace of mind. Lastly, for the last 5 years I have helped a single mom of 3 who has a high functioning autistic son. For years it was just casual babysitting & making sure everyone was safe. Then I started picking him up from therapy & dropping him home for about 2 years. Eventually she started working from home & he was devastated that I was no longer picking him up as it came a routine for him. He is very sweet & easy to care for. For bed time he took medication to help him go to sleep & has come a long ways over the years of caring for her kids.

Julie is amazing. She did such a wonderful job with my special needs son and my 2 other kids. My children are always happy to see her. She is very professional and flexible. And oh she can also clean. I refused to cook in my kitchen after she cleaned because it looked sparking clean...LOL. She is the BEST.
