About Julie

Hi! I'm Julie . I am a child and adolescent primary therapist. I have six years of experience working with children ages 1. 5 to 18 and their families. My master's degree is in social work and my undergraduate degree(s) are in sociology and English literature. I was a paid nanny for all six of my years in higher education. I have extensive knowledge working with kiddos who are neurodivergent or struggle with anxiety. I believe in a strengths-based approach rather than a deficit lens, where I focus on how kiddos can overcome their challenges independently using their positive attributes rather than focusing on barriers to problem-solving. While I have experience assisting children and families with socio-emotional issues using therapeutic approaches, you and your child(ren) are the experts of your lives. I am here to meet you where you're at and go from there. I see childcare as a collaborative effort to support the best environment for happy, healthy learning and growth.
