About Julia

I have worked with kids ever since I was old enough to be a mother's helper, and have loved it all. I am passionate about helping children grow, and am excited to bring my experience into this role! I believe in open communication with parents, and I'm committed to keeping them informed about their child's day. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules, and I'm confident in my ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children. Being a creative and active person, I'm happy to play a variety of games with them. I love to play outdoors, as well as board/card games and puzzles. I also enjoy planning educational games that promote learning. I am a psychology major who recently transferred to ORU, and have taken classes in child development and ECE. I have worked as a tutor for 1-2 graders, as well as a babysitter for children ages 1-12. I have also served in my home church's children and youth ministries. I'm always happy to answer any questions parents may have!
