My name is Julia. I'm an experienced Personal Care Aid. I have 5 years of collective in home caregiving experience. I cared for my mother in law for two years in 2018 after her stroke. I just ended care for my grandfather after three years. He struggled with early dementia so I have experience with memory care. I also have experience with assisting with all activities of daily living and also housekeeping. I've been trained on how to use a hoyer lift. My CPR First Aid certification is expired but I do have that training and proof of expired certification. I am also comfortable around pets. I have experience with medication administering. When my grandfather moved in to the nursing home I lost that sense of purpose caring for him provided me. I'm here on Care searching for a job that gives me that sense of purpose back.
