About Julia

Hi families! My name is Julia. I am a 2020 graduate from University of Oregon where I received a degree in Psychology and Philosophy. I am currently working a 8-4:30 p.m. remote job and I'm living in Portland, OR. I'm looking for part-time or one-time positions. I have a strong passion to work with kids and make a positive impact on their lives. I have spent 2 years nannying for a 2-year-old girl in La Jolla, CA. My daily schedule included scheduled meal and nap times, communicating effectively with her parents and other professionals, and organizing activities that promote learning and development. Prior to this, I was a teacher at Kindercare. Most of my time here was spent working in the infant and toddler rooms, but I have experience working with children of all ages. Throughout college, I worked. I spent my time here preparing meals for classrooms, delivering these meals, and participating in meal time with the children.
