I have been taking care of children of all ages for about 10 years now. I've had jobs that range from being in a nursery, to babysitting, to nannying, to working as a counselor in a day camp, and even teaching both a 4 and 5-year-old and a 2 and 3-year-old Sunday school class. I have also been a youth leader for middle school and high school students and helped coach different sports camps. I have nannied for 6+ years for all ages between 3 months and 8 years and have a toddler myself. I absolutely love playing with kids and interacting with them! They are an absolute joy to me. I honestly hope to work with kids my whole life. I love being able to play games with them (both inside and out), read to them, and really connect on their level.

Our experience with Julia has been nothing but positive. Julia cared for our son full time, 5 days a week for nearly 9 months. She is extremely kind, patient, responsible, respectful, punctual...and the list could go on. Julia took the time to teach our son manners, played sports with him, cooked and baked with him, found her own resources for crafts, read to him and always made sure he felt loved. Julia was his "person." What always stood out to me was Julia's calm demeanor. She doesn't let things rattle her. With all of this said, she provided us with the peace of mind knowing our son was in good hands while we were at work. We are sad to see this time come to an end, but it is time for preschool.
