I am currently an NYC English Language Arts teacher, certified to teach from grades 7-12 with an extension down to 5th grade. However, besides teaching, I have experience taking care of children to young adults (infants to age 21). I am an ICT teacher, meaning I have experience working with a variety of needs and abilities in my classroom (special education & general education). I also have experience nannying and babysitting for children and adults with special needs. I am comfortable with bathing, dressing, administering medication, cooking, housekeeping, laundry, entertainment, mobility assistance, physical activity, and errand running (ie grocery shopping). I am also comfortable with pets and can assist with them. I have lots of respect for the dignity of our children and adults with special needs, and believe they deserve the best care possible. I am a non-smoker and am covid vaccinated with booster.
