About Juliarae

As a caregiver with over a decade of experience, I am passionate about nurturing the cognitive and socio-emotional growth and development of children. In the past, I have been a nanny, babysitter, arts/cooking instructor at a community center, and camp counselor. I have now been teaching ELA to middle schoolers for 3+ years in NYC. I am an ICT teacher, meaning I have experience serving students with a variety of needs (general/special education, English language learners). I am fluent in English, and have some experience with ASL, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, and Spanish. I also have experience working with adults and seniors with special needs, and am comfortable assisting with dressing, bathing, cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, physical activity, and supervising/participating in extracurricular activities as needed. I am also comfortable with pets and can assist with them. I am a non-smoker and am covid vaccinated with booster.
