I have been working as a nanny for 17 years. I love kids, and I'm looking for a new family this summer. I have worked for 4 wonderful families. The first, twin 4-year-olds and their brother. Next, triplets from 3 weeks until they entered Pre-K. Next, I worked for a family with three boys ages 1, 6, and 10 for 5 years. Currently I've been with a family for 7 years a girl 18 months and son 7. The last 3 years I transitioned to being their household manager. I believe in Learning Through Play. I've done everything from feedings/diaper changes to learning colors to potty training, as well as pre-reading and math skills to PreK. My job is for your child to be safe, loved and learning. I love taking kids to the library, park, splash pads, gym, music class etc. I've gone on vacation with families and done date night sitting. I've also homeschooled a child through ARS. I believe my job is to mold myself to meet your needs, and become, rather than a job, like family.

Julia is amazing! She has worked for us for the past 6 years and is wonderful with my kids. She is a very trustworthy, kind, caring, patient and dependable person. From taking care of the kids when they were still young and at home to picking them up from school, taking them to their practices or doctor appts. as they got older, she has truly help us out. We were so lucky to have found her here on Care.com. I never once had an uneasy feeling leaving my kids with her. She's been with us so long I think of her as a part of our family and always will. Also i want to add that she is terrific at helping with homework - she's a wiz at history and helping my son with his papers he had to write. And she helps me remember all the kids appts and practices and special programs that they have - that i forget about sometimes :) Unfortunately, with the kids getting older and us moving to another town, we have to say our goodbyes and we will really miss her. You'll not find a better person to take care of your most prized possessions than Julia!
