We had the absolute pleasure of having Julia (Luna) as a full-time nanny for our son over the past nine months, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Luna is everything you could hope for in a caregiver—positive, happy, compassionate, intelligent, and incredibly supportive. She brought so much creativity and warmth to her work and became an integral part of our family. Luna is exceptionally reliable and punctual—she was not only never late but always early. As first-time parents, we were grateful for her guidance, particularly when it came to introducing solid foods and establishing a nap schedule for our 6-month-old. Thanks to her expertise, our son began sleeping through the night. Luna is active and loved taking our baby son on educational and nature adventures–to the park, museum, and library. She shared photos of him with us throughout the day while we were at work–it warmed our hearts. Luna was interactive in playing with our son, and she helped address his challenging behaviors with calm redirecting. She also fed our son nutritious meals and he now has a wonderfully broad palate for fruits and vegetables. In addition to her outstanding care for our son, Luna went above and beyond in supporting our household, from preparing delicious vegetarian meals to helping care for our dog, who has severe anxiety. Her patience, kindness, and thoughtfulness made a world of difference for all of us. Luna has played a key role in our son's healthy development, and we are forever grateful to her. The only reason she is no longer nannying with us is that our son was admitted into our first-choice daycare right by our home, which had an extensive waitlist which we got off of earlier than we had expected. While we will miss her deeply, she will always be our first call for babysitting or date night coverage. We hit the jackpot with Luna! We are delighted to keep in touch with her and will be forever grateful for her taking care of our son during the first beautiful year of his life.
