I am feel like I would be great with children as I am patient and understanding and all you need to do is give them attention and make sure they clean and well fed and make sure they don't hurt themselves by accident. Mainly just keep them entertained and preoccupied with what they usually do while you are away with whatever you have to do or just if you need a quick break to unwind from stress from work and similar things.
