About Julianne

Welcome! I am Julianne, a learning specialist passionate about helping children conquer learning challenges and become more confident learners. My early training and experience was in counseling and eventually turned to tutoring reading, spelling, writing (k-8), and math (k-3). I have experience assisting students with profiles including ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, ESL/EAL, high-profound giftedness, and ASD. Many of my students just need a little assistance early in their elementary school years. I am trained in Lindamood Bell and use some additional multisensory learning techniques/Orton Gillingham, consistent with a science of reading approach. I am a mother of 4 teens/young adults and 3 of them are beautifully neurodivergent. I am committed to anti-racism and equity in my services. My joy is in children and lifelong learning. In my free time, I enjoy quilting, visiting the ocean, and exploring national parks with my family. Proof of vaccination for household will be required.
