I love animals, plain and simple! Volunteer at PAWs. I don't have any of my own (yet) as I've travelled quite a bit but I plan to celebrate slowing down by adopting this year (finally). Have a ground level 2-story apt with big windows perfect for bird/people-watching. I was always the community "pet-sitter" for my friends, but many moved out of state/country this year I miss their fur babies! We have both cat/dog toys. Grew up with 2 dogs; 3 cats. Grandparents owned a farm. I'm on my first planned sabbatical from 5 years of software sales. Treating myself to an "exploratory" period to recover from burnout and grief/loss. Picking up gig work to give myself more runway for hobbies before I jump back into the full time grind. I will always ensure living things feel safe in my care, both physically and psychologically.
