Hello! I am a fun, engaging and competent tutor that will tailor lessons to meet each students needs. I am a college graduate with a BS in Psychology and 2+ years of professional work. My experience includes internships and practicums during college with a School Psychologist and Counselor. After graduating, I worked as a Brain Coach for a cognitive skills program called BrainMatterZ. From 2018-19, I worked as the Language Arts Assistant, as well as the Study Skills Teacher, for 6th-8th graders at a private school in Orange County, CA. I have also tutored kids 4-16 years of age in academic studies, standardized tests, and study skills. In addition I have experience with the piano, music, drama, public speaking/speeches, and sports (I was a coach for both volleyball [8th grade level] and basketball [6th grade level]. I would like to expand my network of tutoring as I am also pursuing graduate school.
