About Julianna

I'm a math and statistics tutor with 10 years for teaching experience at the middle school, high school and college level. My favorite thing about tutoring is that I get to meet the needs of an individual and adjust my teaching in order for students to achieve their goals. My best skills are making students feel comfortable and safe when learning. That's the only way to be able to pinpoint their needs, trust between a student and teacher is key. I have a wealth of content knowledge but the communication skills to be able to convey that knowledge to students. Having taught such a wide variety of courses, I have the flexibility to make up problems on the fly or change the learning plan throughout the session to meet students particular needs. Open communication between students, parents and teachers is vital to student success. It really does take a village!
