About Juliana Isabela

Hello! I'm currently in my second year of college for a dual-degree in education and mathematics. I've tutored for a year and a half now, mainly for children aged 5-13 in all subjects. Prior to this experience, I mentored at an elementary school for 2 years. My goal is to enrich and further children's skills through play, exploration, and knowledge. I'm very hands-on, believing that being present and focused on kids results in better confidence, communication, and a safe environment. As an aspiring educator, my goal is to help children feel supported throughout their most formative years. Although I do not have much experience with children younger than 5, my coursework has allowed me to understand how children of this age group view and think of the world. Plus, being the middle child in a family of 7 taught me how to observe and adapt! :)
